A woman had her bag stolen after she was knocked to the ground in the St James area of Northampton.
The woman was walking along Stanley Road on Wednesday shortly before 5.30am when she was approached from behind and knocked to the ground. During the scuffle she had her bag stolen.
The robber ran off in the direction of Victoria Park.
He is described as a black man, 5ft 10ins and of slim build. He was wearing a red scarf which covered the lower half of his face, a grey hooded jumper with the hood up, grey jogging bottoms and white trainers with navy stripes along the sides.
