The victim of a violent robbery managed to fight off three attackers by biting one to the face, police have said.
A man was attacked in Moulton last Monday, between 11pm and 11.30pm but fought the robbers off after he was punched.
Police say the man was walking through the alleyway between Lunchfield Lane and Manor Road when he was punched and knocked to the ground.
Two other men then joined in the attack, attempting to search his pockets.
However, the victim managed to fight them off and get away.
He has told officers that during the scuffle he bit one of the men on the side of the face, “possibly causing a visible injury”.
One is described as “stocky” with acne scarring on the bottom half of his face, clean shaven and wearing a black hoody.
The second is also described as “stocky”, with afro-style hair shaved into a pattern on one side, also wearing a black hoody and black footwear.
The third is described as about 14 years old, approximately 5ft 7ins, with crooked front teeth and was wearing a grey hoody.
The offenders are all described as black.
