Murder suspect Anxiang Du is due before Northampton Crown Court tomorrow to face four charges of murder.
Du, aged 54, from Coventry is expected to enters pleas to four charges of murder, following the deaths of Jifeng ‘Jeff’ Ding, his wife Helen Chui, and their two daughters, Xing, aged 18, and Alice, aged 12.
They were found brutally stabbed to death at their home in Pioneer Close, Simpson Manor, in 2011.
Du is due to appear before Mr Justice Julian Flaux, the High Court judge who launched a scathing attack on interpreting services following Du’s last appearance in court.
On that occasion, in May, Mr Justice Flaux hit out at the outsourcing company providing the interpreters, Capita, labelling them a “disgrace”.
He said the firm told him it was not worth sending a Mandarin interpreter to the hearing in Nottingham as they “would not make enough money”.
The Ding family are believed to have been stabbed to death at their home on April 29 2011 - the day of the Royal Wedding. They were discovered two days later, on May 1.
Mr Justice Flaux previously indicated he would hear a potential trial on November 12, which is expected to be in Northampton.
