Dramatic pictures of lightning in Northampton last night have been taken by Chronicle & Echo reader Jamie McDonagh.
The images were taken on Monday night in Abington during the thunder and lightning storm.

Forecasters are predicting more thunderstorms today as well as sunny spells with highs of 24C.
The prediction is for heavy rain ion Tuesday night with possible risk of flooding in some areas.
