Police are carrying out high-visibility patrols in Wollaston after a spate of thefts from vehicles in the area.
Since Saturday, July 6, four vehicles have been broken into and police believe the thefts are linked as all the locations are quite close to each other.
Three vehicles were broken into on Saturday, July 6, in London Road, Holyoake Road and The Heathers. A theft also took place early this week, on either July 20 or 21, in Poplar Place.
Property was stolen on each occasion ranging from CDs, a water bottle, cash and a sat nav.
PC Jo Hucker, of Wellingborough’s Safer Community Team, said: “All these thefts have taken place over the weekend and they are all quite similar.
“We are increasing foot patrols in Wollaston and delivering vehicle crime prevention advice to households.
“Please make sure all vehicles are kept secure at all times and that no valuables are left on display.
“If anyone has any information about these thefts, or knows who is responsible, please get in touch with us at Wellingborough SCT on 101.”
