A robber knocked a teenager unconscious and then stole his mobile phone.
The 19-year-old victim was walking down London Road in Northampton between 1am and 2am last Saturday with two friends when a man on a mountain bike stopped in front of them.
He demanded money, and when it was refused he knocked the victim to the ground, causing a brief loss of consciousness and a deep cut to the head. The victim’s mobile phone was taken.
The offender is described as white, about 20 years old, 5ft 10ins and of slim build with short dark hair.
He was wearing a dark long-sleeved top, tracksuit bottoms and trainers and was carrying a JD sports drawstring bag. He was on a dark coloured mountain bike.
