A man had a glass smashed into his face in a violent attack outside a nightclub in Northampton town centre.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault, which happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, between 1.30am and 3am, in Wellington Street.
A man was with a group of friends, when an altercation started with another group of men outside a nightclub.
The victim, while on the ground, then had a glass was smashed into his face, causing injuries to his face.
A police spokesman said: “The offender is described as white, between 18 and 20 years of age, 5ft 6in to 5ft 7in, of skinny build with a long face and a large nose.
“He had metal dental braces and was wearing a white polo shirt with a penguin logo on the breast of the t-shirt.”
