A 31-year-old man was seen pleasuring himself in a Northampton park near to where children were playing, a court heard.
Domnik Noskowicz, of Alma Street, St James, Northampton, is accused of intentionally exposing his genitals in The Racecourse on Wednesday, July 24 at 6pm.
Northampton Magistrates’ Court heard that a policeman on a bicycle was called to the park after a member of the public reported that a man was pleasuring himself.
The court heard the policeman approached Noskowicz and saw that he was naked from the waist down.
It is alleged that the policeman asked Noskowicz what he was doing and he responded that he was “playing with himself.”
The policeman said he looked round and saw there were children playing within sight of the defendant.
Noskowicz has pleaded not guilty to a charge of exposure which states that he intentionally exposed his genitals someone that someone would see them and it would cause alarm or distress.
The case has been adjourned for a trial which will take place in December at Northampton Magistrates’ Court.
