Northampton Road Runners hosted the eighth edition of the Moulton 10k over the August Bank Holiday weekend and it once again incorporated the NAA County Championships.
Leading home Rugby & Northampton AC was Brendan Moen in 10th place with a time of 37 mins 12 secs.
This put the 47-year-old fourth in the M40 category, but he clinched a bronze medal in the County Champs for his age group.
Vince Carroll is still on course to become the club road race champion for 2013, with only Moen able to deny him.
He completed the sixth race in the series in 20th spot on 37.51 and ninth M40.
Completing the men’s team for the County was Terry Egan on 39.51 in 28th position.
He was third M50 in the race, but won silver for the category in the NAA Champs. Egan added another silver for the team competition to bring his county medal tally to 95.
Also taking part for the club were Richard Franklin (15th M50 in 46.19), Jake Devine (third junior man in 55.38) and his father Mike Devine (33rd M50 in 56.19 ).
Three ladies competed for R&N with Nikki Turner coming home in 33rd place on 54.02 and 12th in the F35 category.
Helen Taylor was timed at 57.08 in 46th (16th F35 ) and just four seconds and one place behind was Lisa Johnson (15th F45).
