Four fire crews have been called to reports of a blaze in the roofspace of a property in Abington.
Firefighters, police and paramedics were all called to the scene in Burwood Road, off Broadmead Avenue at about 4.30pm.
The road has been sealed off. A police spokesman said there was not believed to be anyone in the house at the time.
