A woman was sexually assaulted while walking in The Mounts, in Northampton.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the sexual assault which happened between 10.05pm and 10.15pm on Tuesday in Bailiff Street, at the junction with Louise Road.
A victim was walking along Bailiff Street from William Street in the direction of Louise Road when a man approached her from behind and “touched her inappropriately”.
She then screamed, when the attacker ran off towards William Street industrial estate.
The man is described as white, approximately 19 years of age, of slim build and was wearing a thigh length black water proof coat with a hood, grey jogging bottoms and trainers.
