Businesses from across the county received awards at the Northamptonshire Business in Excellence Awards.
Organised by the Northamptonshire Telegraph and the Northampton Chronicle & Echo, the awards ceremony took place at the Daventry Court Hotel.
A total of 11 awards were handed out on the night in categories including creative business of the year and international trader of the year.
The first award of the night went to Clare Crampton and her business Perfectly Sew, based in Kettering, in the new business of the year award category. She set up the business after she and her husband were made redundant last year.
Mrs Crampton, 31, said: “I am so chuffed - I can’t believe it. All the hard work has been worth it.”
The enterprising organisation award went to Steptronic Footwear Ltd, based in Rushden; the training and development award was received by Novacroft, which has bases in Moulton Park and pitsford; and the customer service award went to Grangefield Park Care Home, based in Earls Barton.
Northampton town centre Costa employee Justyna Redacka, 25, won the unsung employee award.
The creative business of the year award was presented to Coulson Macleod and MGWSP took home the environmental award.
Haddonstone Ltd was recognised as the top international trader of the year and CSfD plc took home the business of the year, under 50 employees.
The business of the year, over 50 employees, went to Knights of Old. And CSfD plc, which specialises in distribution IT solutions, also took home the Carlsberg Business Excellence Choice Award.
CSfD Commercial manager, Helen Henshaw said: “It was beyond our expectations, we are bursting with pride. This is for everyone at CSfD plc.”
