Two men have been charged with theft from a cashpoint at a Northampton supermarket.
Viktor Simion, aged 26, and Florin Simion, aged 24, who do not have Northamptonshire addresses, have been arrested and charged with the offence, which took place at Morrisons in Kettering Road yesterday.
Northamptonshire police officers stopped the vehicle the men were travelling in, in Lindsay Avenue, shortly before 6pm and made the arrests.
Both offenders were taken into custody at the Criminal Justice Centre in Northampton and charged with three counts of theft and three counts of going equipped to steal.
Police are appealing for a black woman aged in her forties or fifties, who used the cash machine at the store at around 5.30pm, to contact police on 101.
