Two huge wins in the fourth and fifth games ensured Northampton came out on top in their Group A home match with Kettering as they completed a 27-0 victory.
Although Kettering suffered narrow defeats in four ties, any hopes of victory disappeared when Ramsay Wilson and Ross Garlick (10 holes) and Lee Van Hoof and Spencer Sturges (nine holes) grabbed the other points.
Wellingborough got their campaign back on track with their second win over Rushden last month as the 2012 runners-up secured a 16-11 home victory.
Although Rushden claimed two games by the margin of five and six holes, the hosts proved too strong in the other four matches.
Group B
Collingtree collected their second victory in three outings with a 22-3 home success against Daventry.
Silverstone still lead the way with four wins from six matches, but Collingtree are now just four points behind with three games in hand.
Group C
Priors Hall recorded a 14-9 home victory against Oundle despite only winning two of the six ties.
Trevor Shiells and Rob Draper secured a five-hole home win in game two, but Oundle took the first and last ties by two holes, halved the third match and won the next by five holes to take the lead.
It made little difference however as the Corby Club secured victory thanks to a thumping nine-hole win for Ryan Sheerin and Matt Mclean.
Oundle went into the contest in good touch after displaying their ruthless streak at home to Embankment as they inflicted a third successive whitewash defeat on the Wellingborough club.
Peter McNally and Richard Moore won by eight holes, while Alan Boswell and Artur Koyama romped to a 10-hole victory for Oundle.
Group D
Reigning champions Hellidon Lakes saw their winning streak come to an end after 12 consecutive victories as they lost 14-5 at Farthingstone.
The home side made the perfect start as John Whittaker and Richard Marsh took the opening tie by seven holes, before edging the next two games by a single hole.
Hellidon reduced the deficit by clinching games four and five, but the visitors were powerless to stop David Camps and Andrew Masters securing the match with a five-hole victory in the closing tie.
Farthingstone went into the contest in good form after recording a 14-3 home victory against Cold Ashby, who beat Delapre 18-6 in their next outing to maintain their slim chances of reaching the semi-finals.
