A man was deliberately run over as he left a Northampton bar.
Northamptonshire Police has today appealed for witnesses following the alleged assault, despite it happening almost three weeks ago, on Saturday, July 6, between 1am and 2.30am.
The 39-year-old man left Bar Serengeti, in Wellingborough Road, when a car was deliberately driven towards him.
The man managed to side-step the car, however, the driver then accelerated at him a second time, this time hitting him.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
A 36-year-old man from Northampton has been arrested on suspicion of violent offences and released on bail.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact the police.
